The greed of gain has no time or limit to its capaciousness. Its one object is to produce and consume. It has pity neither for beautiful nature nor for living human beings. It is ruthlessly ready without a moment's hesitation to crush beauty and life out of them, molding them into money.
-Rabindranath Tagore (1861–1941)

Right on Mr. Tagore!!!
That is a profound quote. Without complicated wording Mr. Tagore pointed out everything that is wrong in this world. He must have been a genius.
Patty, your response to my comment intrigued me and I checked up on Mr. Tagore...indeed...quite a remarkable fellow...the article says the was the first "non-European" to win the Nobel prize. He was obviously impressive to be able to break such a barrier.
I wonder what the stats are re Nobel prizes and veganism...seems like many of those folks "get it" about harming animals.
Thanks again for your great posts!!
